On Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, servicemen and women can find discounts and even free meals at some local area restaurants. While we have compiled the most accurate list we can, because of the pandemic, it’s always good to call first just to double-check on the offer.

Applebee’s: Veterans and active duty service members are eligible for a free meal at all Pittsburgh area locations this Veterans Day, 11/11. Applebee’s is strictly following local and state guidelines and mandates, so availability may vary by location. Call ahead to make sure that your Applebee’s is participating.
Bob Evans: On Nov. 11, Bob Evans will be offering a special menu of seven homestyle favorites available to veterans and active duty military FREE at their local Bob Evans Restaurant. Dine-in only, beverage not included. Veterans and active duty military simply show proof of military service.
Chili’s Grill & Bar: All veterans and active military members can get a free meal from a select menu on Nov. 11, 2020 at all participating Chili's Grill & Bar restaurants. Available for in-restaurant only. Please call ahead to your local Chili's restaurant if you have any questions about your Veterans Day meals.
Eat’n Park: Eat’n Park Restaurants is showing its appreciation for all active and former United States military personnel and their families by offering a 10% discount on their entire check during the month of November. The discount applies to all meals on the active or former military personnel’s check. The discount runs for the FULL month of November, from Sun., Nov. 1 through Mon., Nov. 30, at all Eat’n Park locations in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. The veterans’ discount is valid for dine-in only, not for takeout or online orders and cannot be combined with any other discounts. Proof of service is required. Golden Corral: Golden Corral will hand out free meal and beverage cards to all active duty and veterans from Nov. 1-30. The card will be valid for use once from Nov. 1, 2020 through May 31, 2021 for lunch or dinner, Monday through Thursday.
Red Robin: Veterans and active military who are Red Robin Royalty members can redeem their FREE Tavern Double Burger with Steak Fries any time between 11/12 and 11/30 for Dine-in or To-Go. The offer will be automatically uploaded to your dashboard. Not a Royalty member? It’s free and simple to join. And when you register your account with military status before November 5th, the Veterans Day reward will be added to your account.
Sheetz: Sheetz is offering veterans a free half turkey sub and drink, as well as a free ($9 value) car wash at stores that have a carwash. The promo is available for orders paid for in-store only. (Can order online or on the app, but do not select ‘pay now.’ Choose the ‘pay in store’ option.) Bring proof of service: acceptable forms of proof are listed on the door signage at any Sheetz store.
Texas Roadhouse: Things are different this year due to the pandemic and capacity restrictions. To celebrate Veterans Day, Texas Roadhouse will hand out dinner vouchers in the stores’ parking lots on Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All active, former, or retired military members need to have their Military ID or proof of service when driving through to pick up their dinner voucher. Veterans and active military can redeem their dinner vouchers when they choose in-store until June of next year. Be sure to call your local Texas Roadhouse for details.
