Experience…
Professionalism … Community Involvement … Quality …
These are all things that set North Hills Monthly magazine
apart from other area community magazines and make us the areas
“magazine of choice” for readers and advertisers, alike.
My staff and I have over 85 years combined experience in the
publishing industry. We know the importance of quality editorial and
professional practices. We are actively involved in many community
organizations and believe in “giving back to the community”.
Celebrating our tenth year. North Hills Monthly magazine
continues to grow stronger each month. It is the positive response
from both readers and advertisers that makes the magazine such a
wonderful experience for me, the entire staff and support team.
Our editorial content is continuously evolving, as are our advertising
opportunities. This year, we have a wonderful editorial schedule
planned. As always our editorial for 2010 includes many exciting
features about people and places in northern Allegheny and southwest
Butler counties. We will continue to provide you with regular features
such as Perspective by Jack Etzel, Doctor Knowledge, Larry’s Line-up
by Larry Richert, in addition to financial, legal, real estate, health
and education columns. Our Dining Guide and Hidden Treasure continue
to be reader and advertiser favorites. For 2010 we are thrilled to
welcome Denise Schreiber as our Home and Garden writer. Denise is
“Mrs. Know it all” on the Organic Gardeners, and greenhouse manager
for Allegheny County Parks.
We have featured restaurants and businesses that have given us glowing
testimonials as to how the articles affected the growth of their
establishments. Here is just one example: Here is a message we
received from Dr. Christina Teimouri DPM of Beaver Foot “Thank You North
Hills Monthly magazine” “I can’t believe how quickly the years
have passed since we opened our doors for the first time in Cranberry
Township. Even though I have been in a very busy practice for over 14
years, this was a completely new location for us. The first week I had
one patient, the second I had three. We weren’t even in the phone book
for the first year. But that didn’t stop the phenomenal growth I saw
once word got out via North Hills Monthly magazine.
This is a
long overdue thank you to North Hills Monthly magazine.
Through their success, we have enjoyed successful growth. Over 90
percent of our new patients heard about us from our monthly articles,
which is second only to recommendations to friends and family members
from happy patients who we personally treat as if they were our own
family members.”
Thank You North Hills Monthly Magazine

North Hills
Monthly magazine continues to be involved in the communities we
serve. We are active members of area chambers, business organizations
and networking groups. As publisher, I believe in giving back to the
community. I am very honored that for 2009, we were able to award the
third annual John M. Koch Journalism Scholarship. The scholarship is
named after my late father and completely funded by North Hills
Monthly magazine. We award the scholarship through North Hills
Community Outreach to a local North Hills area student.
For the second year, North Hills Monthly awarded a Journalism
scholarship. The Journalism scholarship was awarded to a Seneca Valley
High School student planning on a career in journalism.
I would like to take this opportunity to ask all of our readers to
please continue to support North Hills Monthly magazine and the
fine businesses that advertise with us. It is our advertisers and
readers who continue to make our magazine possible.
On behalf of the entire staff, thank you again for your continued
support. |
