UPMC Passavant will hold an educational program for members of the community, Community Heart and Stroke Symposium. The seminar will feature heart and stroke topics presented by UPMC Passavant physicians, and blood pressure and cholesterol screenings. Before the seminar, complimentary continental breakfast will be provided. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet staff members and learn about services at UPMC Passavant.

Topics include What’s New in Heart Surgery presented by Dr. Pyongsoo Yoon; Vascular Disease presented by Dr. Georges Al-Khoury, Chief of Vascular Surgery at UPMC Passavant; Atrial Fibrillation presented by Dr. Sandeep Jain, Director of the UPMC Passavant Electrophysiology Laboratory; Updates in Stroke Recognition and Care presented by Dr. Erek Lam, neurologist; and Taking Care of Your Heart presented by Dr. Lydia Davis, cardiologist.
