Hi-Tech Learning Camps

This summer, kids in Cranberry will have the opportunity to drill down deep into Minecraft – the hugely popular interactive video game – to share, shape, and create new worlds for themselves and fellow enthusiasts. Hi-Tech Learning, a company that offers technology-centered programs for kids, will be offering four separate camps in Cranberry during July and August focused on video game design in general, and Minecraft in particular. Two of the camps – Learning Adventure in Minecraft and Video Game Design – will be offered each weekday starting July 11 for kids ages 7 to 10. Two others – Ultimate Minecraft Map Creation and Minecraft Modifications – will be held the week of August 8 for those age 9 through 14. Each camp includes five three-hour sessions. All Hi-Tech Learning camps are held in the Cranberry Township Municipal Center. The fee for Cranberry residents is $190. per section; for non-residents it is $195. Online registration is available at either, by phone at 724-779-4FUN (4386), or in person at the Parks & Recreation Customer Service Desk in the Cranberry Township Municipal Center.
