Five evening concerts, three lunchtime performances, and two movies in the park are queued up for a summer of entertainment in Cranberry Township – and they’re all free of charge.
Thursdays in the Park. Thursday evening concerts begin at 7:00 on the lawn at the Community Park Rotary Amphitheater.
July 14. The Hobbs Sisters. Harmony is the signature sound of twin country music singers and guitarists Hannah and Lauren Hobbs.
July 21. Keystone State Musical Theater. Led by theatre veterans Chris and Alirose Saunders, KMS members will present a revue of music taken from popular Broadway shows.
August 4. Bon Journey covers the hits of Bon Jovi and Journey, this popular five-member tribute band has toured a variety of east coast venues.
August 11. Phase IV Band. This four-piece, Cranberry-based band performs standard and not-so-standard music of the past 30 years.
August 18. Lenny Smith & The Instant Gators. Lenny Smith is joined by the four-man Instant Gators band for an eclectic mix of musical styles.
Movies in the Park. Free feature films will be shown at the Community Park Amphitheatre starting at dusk. .
Tuesday, June 21. Creed (2015) PG-13. Former World Heavyweight Champion Rocky Balboa serves as trainer and mentor to Adonis Johnson, the son of his late friend and former rival Apollo Creed.
Tuesday, August 16. Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015) PG. Dracula and friends try to bring out the monster in his grandson to keep his daughter from leaving their bizarre high-end hotel in this animated comedy.
Friday Lunchtime Concerts in the Rotary Gazebo on the front lawn of Cranberry’s Municipal Center begin at noon on three successive Fridays. Bring your own lunch, or support the library – Friends of the Cranberry Library will be grilling hot dogs!
July 29. RML Jazz. the RML Jazz band has mixed Jazz, Latin, R&B and Soft Rock with vocals and a rhythm section consisting of keyboard, guitar, and drums.
August 5. KardaZ. Chris and Bob Kardasz, have been performing songs from the 1960s as well as other genres of popular music.
August 12. Keystone State Musical Theater. KSMT students perform popular Broadway show tunes.
