Cranberry to offer Adobe Lightroom for Beginners
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is a photo processor and image organizer developed by Adobe Systems for Windows and OS X. It allows viewing, organizing and retouching of digital images, although it is not capable of performing such Photoshop functions as doctoring images or rendering text.
During a single eight-hour session this summer, Cranberry’s Parks & Recreation Department will show amateur photographers 18 and older how to use this powerful but easy-to-learn program. The same course will be offered on three different occasions this year, each on a Friday: May 27, June 10, and July 1. Course objectives are to teach the basics of importing, organizing and enhancing digital images. Although no prerequisites are necessary, bringing along a personal laptop with Lightroom already installed is strongly suggested.
Registration for Lightroom for Beginners is available in person at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center Parks & Recreation Information Desk, online at the Township Web site, www.Cranberry4FUN.com/Register, or by phone at 724-779-4FUN (4386). A program fee of $100 for residents, $105 for non-residents, is payable at the time of registration.
