CHILDREN’S/YOUNG ADULT & FAMILY ONGOING PROGRAMS & STORYTIMES Part One

TUESDAY TODDLER TIME Every Tues. at 9:30 a.m. Beginning Jan. 5 Songs, stories, rhymes, music and movement for young children who are walking, but not yet ready to sit through a traditional half-hour storytime. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. No registration required. WEDNESDAY STORYTIME! Every Wed. from 9:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. Beginning Jan. 6 Children who are ready to sit and listen to a story along with their care giver can come on down to the Library for a 30 minute storytime every Wed.. Children can enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and rhythms. No registration required. EVENING BABY & TODDLER TIME Jan. 6, 13, 20 & 27 (Wed.) at 6:30 p.m. Babies and toddlers (6 months- 35 months) are invited to bring a grown-up for a half-hour of songs, nursery rhymes and library fun, designed to nurture pre-reading skills. Registration is required. THURSDAY BABY TIME Every Thur.y at 9:30 a.m. Beginning Jan. 7 Nursery rhymes, tickles, bounces and library fun for babies not yet walking, with a parent or caregiver. No registration required. MUSIC & MOVEMENT STORYTIME Jan. 7, 14, & 21 (Thur.) at 10 a.m. & 1 p.m. Does your child like to dance to the beat? Does music make your child jump for joy? Come join a special storytime where we will sing, dance and read stories that will make your child move in a positive way. Children ages three and up along with their caregivers are invited to join us for this program. No registration is required. HOME SCHOOL MEET-UPS Jan. 8, 15, 22, 29 (Fri.) at 10 a.m. – Math Minions Each week a different theme will be explored. Registration is required. Please register the child only. SCIENCE TOTS STORYTIME Jan. 11, 18, 25, & Feb. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 (Mon.) at 10 a.m. & 1 p.m. Children ages three to five and their caregivers who like stories, songs and science are welcome to join our Science Tots Storytime. Come hear themed stories and songs which relate to our science theme of the day. No registration is required for this program. FAMILY FUN NIGHT Tue., Jan. 12 from 7-8 p.m. Come enjoy an hour of family STEM fun. Families with children in first through fifth grades will participate in a science, technology, engineering or math activity created for the evening. Please register only the children of the family participating in this program.
