Christmas Concert by The Dreher Chorale

This family-centered choral concert is free and a free-will offering will be taken at all performances to benefit local charities and food banks. Since 2010, The St. Vincent de Paul Society as received nearly $7,500 from these benefit concerts and nearly the same amount has also gone to Lighthouse Ministry and Salvation Army. This concert is a brand new cantata composed by Randy Vader, Jay Rouse and Rose Aspinall and contains familiar holiday music as well as newly composed pieces. They are all woven together with narration and video to present a unique and beautiful story of the birth of Jesus. This concert by THE DREHER CHORALE include 62 singers of all ages from over 40 different churches who come together in praise of God and the betterment of our community. The chorale is directed by David Dreher, Director of Music Ministries at Saint Kilian Parish. Mr. Dreher’s musical career has spanned over three decades beginning with musical theater and broadening into a long operatic and oratorio career. He attended The Juilliard School of Music, was a winner of the Metropolitan Opera auditions in Pittsburgh and Detroit and sang with many giants in the operatic world such as, Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Birgit Nielsson and many more.
