The Pittsburgh Concert Chorale proudly presents “Sounds of the Season,” a concert filled with holiday favorites, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, and 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, at Ingomar United Methodist Church; and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church.
PCC’s annual yuletide show, which signals the start of the holiday season for many local community members, includes a vast array of holiday music, ranging from classical sounds to pop delights. This year, audiences will enjoy music as varied as “O magnum mysterium,” “O Holy Night,” “Home for the Holidays” and “Deck the Hall.”
“Our ‘Sounds of the Season’ concerts are always popular with our audiences and our singers,” Music Director Susan Medley said. “Whether you are a classical music enthusiast, a lover of holiday pops, or a fan of traditional Christmas carols, this concert will be the perfect start to your holiday season!”
Individual concert tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. Prices are: Adults - $20 ($22 at the door); students - $8; no cost for children under 12.
