La Roche College to Host Instant Decision Day on Nov. 21
La Roche College invites prospective freshmen to meet with an enrollment counselor, receive an admissions decision and discover the amount of their academic scholarship during Instant Decision Day on Saturday, Nov. 21.
The event will be held in the Zappala College Center Square at La Roche’s main campus in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. Students must bring the following items for consideration: a completed La Roche application, a high school transcript and SAT or ACT scores. The College will waive the $50 application fee for those who attend Instant Decision Day.
Applicants must hold a minimum overall grade point average of 2.5, as well as a minimum SAT score of 800 (critical reading and math) or a 17 composite ACT score. Certain programs at La Roche have admission requirements that exceed these minimums. Students must contact the College beforehand to determine their eligibility for the following programs:
• Athletic Training
• National Security Studies
• Occupational Therapy
• Physical Therapy
• Physician Assistant
• Radiologic Technology
• Speech and Language Pathology
In addition to receiving an admissions decision, students will learn the amount of their academic scholarship award. La Roche offers generous merit-based scholarships to qualifying students annually, and those who are eligible can receive a scholarship ranging from $1,000 to $15,000.
Refreshments will be provided, and optional campus tours will be available every hour from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Students should schedule an appointment at laroche.edu/decision. For more information about Instant Decision Day, please contact the La Roche Freshman Admissions office at 412-536-1270, 800-838-4572 or 412-536-1272.
