Lights of Hope Tree Lighting Ceremony and Craft Show with Santa

St. Margaret Foundation is hosting a ‘Lights of Hope’ Tree Lighting Ceremony and Employee Craft Show for the Community on Tuesday, November 17th from 3 – 5 pm in the UPMC St. Margaret Courtyard and Entrance B in Aspinwall. Free parking will be provided. This event will feature hand crafted items made by the St. Margaret employees, bake sale treats made by St. Margaret employees , carols sung by local elementary school children, a basket raffle, a tree lighting ceremony, Santa Claus for photos so bring your camera, and much, much more! Get holiday gifts at this event where 21 St. Margaret employees will sell an array of handmade crafts including: wreathes, candles, painted slates, bird baths, calming glitter jars, crocheted scarves and afghans, floral arrangements, painted canvases, and more! Beginning at 3:30pm, patients and families can enjoy holiday carols sung by Christ the Divine Catholic Teacher Academy in the hospital chapel. Video of the performance will be streamed live to patients’ television sets and continue throughout the holiday seasons. The Tree Lighting will occur at 4:15 pm. People who want to commemorate or honor a loved one this holiday may donate $35 for a dove ornaments, personalized with their loved one’s name, to be hung on the ‘Lights of Hope’ Tree in the courtyard of St. Margaret Hospital throughout the holiday season. Attendance and parking are free!
