Ladies Day Out to benefit Education Assistance fund
The Lydia Circle of St. Paul’s United Methodist Women presents its second annual Ladies Day Out, 1-4:00 pm, Saturday, November 7 in St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1965 Ferguson Road, McCandless.
Admission to the event is free. Attendees will have opportunities to make donations and bid on silent auction items. All proceeds will benefit North Hills Community Outreach’s Education Assistance program.
Nina Belcastro, event coordinator, said, “The Education Assistance program is a great program that helps relieve the stresses nontraditional students face when making the transition into further education. The members of the Lydia Circle believe that the decision to continue one’s education is both exceptional and brave, and we are proud that our Ladies Day Out event will benefit an organization that makes this decision a little easier.”
