NA Student Assistance Program Hosts Community Seminar
Computer Technology in Our Schools: Helping Students Navigate the Web & Social Media Effectively, Safely & Responsibly
The North Allegheny School District (NASD) Student Assistance Program is sponsoring their annual Fall Community Connections Seminar on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, from 7–9:00 p.m. The location of the seminar will be Marshall Middle School which is located at 5145 Wexford Run Road in Wexford. This timely and informative seminar is geared for parents/guardians of students in grades 6–8 (adults only) and is open to the community free of charge.
NASD staff members, representatives from local law enforcement and an agent with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office will present on the importance of digital citizenship and cyber safety matters.
This seminar is being offered to assist parents as they are teaching their children about making responsible choices with technology and social media.
