Summer Art Camp at Old Economy Village

Old Economy Village in Ambridge will host a Summer Art Camp from August 3 to August 7 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon each day. Artist and Pastelist Gary Means will be the instructor during the camp. A published artist, Gary is noted for creating historical scenes of Beaver County. Children between the ages of 8 to 12 will learn how to sketch with colored pencils and create artwork using pastels. Children will also get a chance to see and learn about rare artwork in the historic buildings of Old Economy Village and “behind-the-scenes” in collections storage with the site Curator. The program fee for Friends of Old Economy Village is $56 for the first child and $51 for each additional child. The program fee for nonmembers is $70 for the first child and $65 for each additional child. Art supplies are included in the cost of the camp.
