Fatty liver is one of America's biggest health care challenges. Approximately two-thirds of adult Americans are overweight, and at risk for development of complications of NAFL, including Non-Alcoholic Steato-Hepatitis and cirrhosis. The diagnosis of NAFL can be suspected in certain demographic groups, but can be easily missed. Early management of NAFL is essential and multi-dimensional, and early effective treatment can reverse this condition.

Speaker: Frank J. Koziara II, MD, Board Certified Gastroenterologist, Gastroenterology Associates of Pittsburgh
