Ginger: From Farm to Whiskey

Join us for an evening of agricultural explorations, dramatic history lessons, and delicious treats. You’ll hear about the history of whiskey in Western Pennsylvania, work Chatham University Food Studies’ students have done with Wigle Whiskey to develop a new product (hint: it contains ginger), and how to grow ginger in the northeast. You’ll also get a sneak peek at the ginger currently being grown in greenhouse at Eden Hall. Ginger themed appetizers & cocktails will be served, featuring Wigle spirits.
