"May is 31 Days of Compassion at Animal Friends!"

During this month-long campaign Animal Friends will be fundraising to continue – and further – its compassionate and progressive mission: To ensure the well-being of companion animals, while ending overpopulation, abuse and unwarranted euthanasia. This campaign will give the community an opportunity to donate to, learn about and participate in activities and fundraisers that support Animal Friends’ programs. During 31 Days of Compassion, Animal Friends is asking you to make your compassion real, tangible and active! There are so many ways to do that – adopt an Animal Friends’ shelter resident, give food to the Chow Wagon Pet Food Bank, volunteer at Animal Friends, spread the word about our progressive programming, make a donation, visit our blog for ways to enrich your pets, or spay or neuter your pet. And that’s just to name a few! The goal of our 31 Days of Compassion campaign is to raise enough money to support our programs while getting you to resolve to do something compassionate – no matter how big or small! Donate now at
