Passavant Hospital Foundation Hosts 1st Annual Domestic Violence Conference
Brave: Building Relationships and Awareness for Anti-Violence Education, a FREE conference covering five Domestic Violence topics will be held on Tuesday, May 5 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Passavant Hospital Foundation Conference Center, at Cumberland Woods Village, McCandless.
Topics include: Men and Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking, Post-Traumatic Stress and Domestic Violence, Parents of Child Victims and Highlights of local services for our immediate community. The conference is hosted by UPMC Passavant and Passavant Hospital Foundation and sponsored in conjunction with Crisis Center North, Pittsburgh Action Against Rape (paar) and Victim Outreach Intervention Center (VOICe).
The FREE program will offer Continuing Education Units for nurses, physicians, social work, and Legal and Pre-hospital providers. A light dinner is included.
