The Master Gardeners of Butler County will partner with Cranberry Township’s Parks & Recreation Department this spring in a series of four master classes about different aspects of successful gardening. Anyone 17 or older is welcome to sign up.
· Garden Journaling – the systematic documentation of annual life cycle events in nature and their impact on a garden – will be the topic of the first session on April 23.
· Flowering Vines and their care will be the topic of an April 30 session.
· The science of vegetable gardening will be addressed on May 7.
· Flower beds and borders will be explored on May 14.
The 90-minute classes meet on four successive Thursdays, beginning at 6:30 PM on April 23. They can be taken individually, for a program fee of $25 – $20 for Township residents – or as a complete series for $90, or $70 for Township residents with Resident Discount Identification Cards. Program fees are payable at the time of registration and include all material used in the class. Walk-in registration is available at the Parks & Recreation Information Desk,
