La Roche College to Host Celebrate La Roche!
Eleven accomplished graduates to receive Distinguished Alumni Circle Award
Celebrate La Roche! is a special evening showcasing the College’s many contributions to the community, the Pittsburgh area and the world. This year the event will be held at the Grand Hall of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in McCandless Township, kicking off with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m., a dinner at 7 p.m. and a silent auction. The College will induct 11 new members to its Distinguished Alumni Circle at 7:45 p.m. and recognize the Class of 1965 in honor of its 50th anniversary year. The Distinguished Alumni Circle honors La Roche graduates whose outstanding professional achievements and community service projects exemplify the fundamental values of the College’s mission. After receiving nominations from alumni, parents, friends and other members of the College community in the fall of 2014, a committee comprised of a diverse cross-section of La Roche constituents selected the following alumni as recipients: • Eucario Bakale Angue Oyana ’06 of Malabo, Equatorial Guinea • Very Rev. Andrew J. Deskevich ’92 of Warren, Ohio • Peggy H. Eddens ’87 of Hockessin, Del. • Steven C. Fleisch ’78 of Chatham, N.J. • Natasha Garrett ’96, Ph.D. of Lawrenceville, Pa. • Kevin M.
