SV PRESENTS ‘CYBER SAFETY- WHAT EVERY PARENT SHOULD KNOW’
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agent Gregg Frankhouser, a member of the violent crimes squad in Pittsburgh, will present a can’t-miss cyber safety program for parents, grades K-12, from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, April 20, in the Seneca Valley Intermediate High School Auditorium.
Through a review of identity theft, online predators, social media and common computer issues, including malware, this program emphasizes the far-reaching effects of online activity. Additionally, a computer/offender case study will be reviewed.
This event will be immediately followed by a “Conversations with the Community” forum with the District Superintendent of Schools Dr. Tracy Vitale and members of her Administrative Team.
