The Shadyside Art & Craft Festival to Debut This Spring

Howard Alan Events, producer of the signature summer art show on Walnut Street returns to Shadyside with a spring event featuring the finest art and affordable crafts by leading local and national artists. The event, hosted by the Shadyside Chamber of Commerce, will take place on May 30th & 31st. Admission is free and open to the public. Eclectic exhibits featuring a full spectrum of art and craft media will be on display and for sale along Walnut Street. Collectors and art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to explore the wide variety of original artwork and unique gift items, with broad appeal, as well as engage the artists to gain a better understanding of the creative process. The prices will be set to suit all budgets and will range from $25 to $30,000. “We are excited to add this show to our spring line up,” says festival promoter Howard Alan. “Pittsburgh is a vibrant city, where the community actively supports the arts and Shadyside is an ideal backdrop for our events.”
