Pine Richland High School Musical

Pine Richland High School will perform Pippin as its spring musical. Pippin is a Tony Award-winning musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Roger O. Hirson. Bob Fosse, who directed the original Broadway production, also contributed to the libretto. The musical uses the premise of a mysterious performance troupe, led by three Leading Players to tell the story of Pippin, a young prince on his search for meaning and significance. Jim Scriven joins the Pine-Richland Spring Musical team this year as Director. Over 50 students make up the cast and they will be joined by an orchestra and stage crew, also made up of all students. The role of Pippin will be played by Jake Pedersen. Jake won the Audience Choice award at the 2014 Kean Quest Talent Search. Tickets may be ordered via email beginning February 16, 2015. The box office will also be open for ticket purchase.
