CHILDREN’S/YOUNG ADULT & FAMILY ONGOING PROGRAMS & STORYTIMES
February 3, 10, 17, and 24 (Tuesdays) from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Children in third through fifth grade are challenged to join our Mission… Club. Please register in person or by calling 412-366-8100 ext. 123.
February 4, 11, and 25 (Wednesdays) from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Children Science Investigators Club (CSI) begins another round of science exploration. Children in kindergarten through second grade can dig into science with hands-on experiments and fun. Registration required.
February 4, 11, 18 & 25 (Wednesdays) at 9:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
Babies & Toddlers (six months through 35 months) and their grownups (parents, grandparents or other caregiver) are invited to enjoy four weeks of songs, nursery rhymes, tickles and bounces designed to nurture pre-reading skills. Registration required.
February 4, 11, 18 & 25 (Wednesday Evenings) 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Stories, songs, action rhymes and an “art start” before bedtime for families with children three through five years of age. Registration required.
SCIENCE TOTS PICTURE BOOK STORYTIMES
Through March 2 (Mondays) at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Four and five year old children can explore various science topics through picture books, songs and games during our Science-Tots Picture Book Storytimes. Each storytime ends with a fun reproducible experiment families can try at home. Registration required.
TODDLER AND PRESCHOOL FITNESS
March 4, 11, 18, 25 (Tuesdays) at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Burn off some energy during these cold winter days with your toddler/preschooler between the ages of two and five at the library! Registration required.
MIDDLE SCHOOL MONDAYS
This is an after school program for middle school students, grades six through eight which involves different activities every week from crafts to gaming to book discussions, to homework help from 3-4 p.m. in the Board Room.
TACTILE TUESDAYS – New!
This is a brand new hour-long program that will let young adults get their hands dirty! Starting Tuesday, February 3 at 3 p.m., the group will meet in the Board room across from the Young Adult room. Students from sixth to twelfth grade are welcome.Visit Event Website for More Info
