OWl-O-Ween at the national Aviary
National Aviary visitors will enjoy crafts, candy, and owls of every shape and size! Throughout the day National Aviary keepers will introduce visitors to four different species of owls, including the Screech Owl, Spectacled Owl, Eurasian Eagle-owl, and a Barn Owl named Whisper. Visitors will be encouraged to ask questions, see the owls up-close, and take plenty of pictures. Owl-o-Ween is a family-friendly event with activities for every age. The youngest visitors will enjoy story time with a Screech Owl, the bravest will dare to touch the creepy, crawly, bug station, and everyone is welcome to march in the costume parade. It’s sure to be a ‘Hoot!’ For more information, please visit www.aviary.org.
