Dialogues: The Language of Change
Chatham University's MFA in Creative Writing presents Dialogues: The Language of Change, with featured authors Shaka Senghor and Renée Watson. Shaka Senghor is a leading voice in criminal justice reform and a Senior Fellow with the Dream Corps. His memoir, Writing My Wrongs: Life, Death and Redemption in an American Prison, was released in March 2016 and debuted on The New York Times Best Seller List as well as The Washington Post Best Seller List. Renée Watson is a New York Times bestselling author, educator, and activist. Her young adult novel, Piecing Me Together (Bloomsbury, 2017) received a Coretta Scott King Award and Newbery Honor.
