Peggy Slota, DNP, RN, from Georgetown University, will cover the numerous health benefits of enjoying time outdoors and discuss precautions for mosquito borne illnesses. Bill Moore, Pittsburgh Regional Leader of PA Lyme Resource Network, will provide Dare 2B TICKAware education, which will address how to identify and prevent tick bites and diseases, recognize early symptoms of bites, and when to seek help for Lyme disease. This presentation is sponsored by the Franklin Park Borough Environmental Advisory Council. Registration is required.
