INDIAN COOKING: DAL MAKHANI

Monday, December 18 at 7p.m.

Our favorite Indian cook, Ann Manchella, will demonstrate the preparation of another tasty vegetarian food from South India: Dal Makhani. This popular dish's primary ingredients are black lentils, red kidney beans, butter and cream and is typically served with rice or naan. Watch her preparation and taste a generous sample. Copies of the recipe will be available for you to take home and try it for yourself.

Join health coach Sara Richter as she explains the effects of sugars and preservatives in your body and how you can transform your eating habits. She will go over some tactics to minimize sugar in your diet and help you come up with an action plan that will stick like honey! This informative session will include samples of snacks and healthy recipes to take home and try for yourself. Registration is required.
