Pancake Breakfast with Santa to Benefit Veterans Support Group ‘It’s About the Warrior’
Visitors to the American Legion on Nov. 12 can honor America’s veterans, meet Santa and feast on pancakes and sausage all at the same event.
Net proceeds from the Zelienople Rotary Club’s annual all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast will benefit It’s About the Warrior, a Butler-based nonprofit group that empowers post-9/11 veterans and their families in the Tri-State region. Patrick Hammonds, a board member for It’s About the Warrior, said partnering with groups like the Zelienople Rotary are key to its success.
“If it weren’t for enterprises like Rotary and other third-party organizations, it wouldn’t be possible,” he said.
The all-you-can-eat meal features pancakes, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fruit, juice and coffee. The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children under 12 years old.
A visit with Santa and a gift basket raffle will take place at the breakfast.
