BUYING AND SELLING YOUR HOME: TIPS FROM LOCAL REALTORS

Monday, November 20 at 7 p.m.

Buying a new home can be overwhelming. Join local realtors Lisa Giordano and Megan Grenek for tips on purchasing a home, from beginning to end of the process. They will discuss preparing to purchase a home, financial guidance, and the time-line along the way. Registration is required.

CHRISTMAS MARKETS: A EUROPEAN TRADITION

Thursday, November 30 at 7 p.m.

There is nothing like the tradition of Christmas markets in Europe. Large or small, each market reflects the culture of the region - elaborate pastries straight out of a medieval cookbook, lyrical midnight masses in Gothic churches, or the upholding of quirky local traditions. In some European countries, Christmas just isn’t complete without its traditional market. Come learn about the celebrations, culinary traditions, folklore and entertainment of markets in Munich, Prague, Vienna, Milan, and Strasbourg. Registration is required.

COOKBOOK CLUB INTEREST MEETING

Saturday, December 2 at 10 a.m.

Love cooking or baking and want to share your recipes with others? We are looking for men, women and teenagers to join us on December 2 as we meet to talk about starting our very own Northland Cookbook Club. Led by Michelle Kuhn, we'll talk about how the club will be structured and what to expect from this exciting possible new addition to our book discussion groups.

Coffee and tea will be provided. Come ready to discuss ideas and meet other cookbook enthusiasts. Registration is required.

RINGING IN THE SEASON: HANDBELL SELECTIONS BY RING PITTSBURGH

Sunday, December 3 at 3 p.m.

Come enjoy a series of beloved holiday melodies performed by Ring Pittsburgh. The group will play a selection of popular and traditional holiday music using a wide variety of handbell and chime techniques. Stick around after the concert for a short reception. Ring Pittsburgh. Directed by Jim Rossetti, this auditioned group of handbell musicians inspires, educates, and entertains their audiences through the art of handbell ringing. Registration is required.
