MUSHROOM WALK: Saturday, September 2, 10:00 a.m. Pleasant Valley Park, Murrysville. Meet WPMC President Richard Jacob and Pia van de Venne from Friends of Murrysville Park at the Pleasant Valley parking lot. Free.

16th ANNUAL GARY LINCOFF FORAY: Saturday, September 16, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Rose Barn, North Park. Includes guided mushroom walks, presentations by Robert Chang of American Truffle Company and Pittsburgh native Gary Lincoff, auction, book signing, merchandise sales, and mushroom feast. Cost is $35 for members, $55 for nonmembers (includes a 2017-18 club membership), and $15 for students and children 11-18. Children 10 and under are free.

MONTHLY MEETING: Tuesday, September 19, 7:00 p.m. Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve, 614 Dorseyville Road. Topic: Capturing Wild Mushroom Cultures. Speaker: Mark Spear, Industrial Mycologist. Free.

MUSHROOM CLASSES & WALK: Saturday, September 23, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Harrison Hills Park, Allegheny County. Meet WPMC Officer Fluff Berger at the Environmental Learning Center for morning classes, followed by an afternoon mushroom walk on a Harrison Hills trail. Bring a lunch. Free.

MUSHROOM WALK: Saturday, September 30, 10:00 a.m. Wingfield Pines, Upper Saint Clair. Join WPMC and Allegheny Land Trust for a BioBlitz to catalog the different species found at Wingfield Pines. Meet in the parking lot. Free.
