“Summer College at La Roche offers the most competitive per-credit costs in the region, which allows students to shorten total time commitment and costs for an academic program,” Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs Tom Schaefer, Ph.D., said. “Students coming home to Pittsburgh over the summer will have the opportunity to continue their coursework in a small, personalized learning environment, and will have the option for free housing at La Roche.”
Summer College is open to students who want to minimize their fall workload, as well as adult learners who seek career advancement. All students are expected to have completed the established course prerequisites, as indicted on the schedule of classes. Academic credits earned will appear on an official La Roche College transcript. Visiting undergraduate students are required to seek the permission of their home registrar to ensure that courses taken are transferable to their home institution.
