Happy New Year from Fine Wine & Good Spirits!

Hard to believe, but we’ve made it to 2020! That’s definitely a reason to celebrate, and the good people at Fine Wine & Good Spirits have got some suggestions on how to welcome the new year in right! We’re sharing their recipes so that when the ball drops, you can toast in style. Just remember not to drink and drive so that everyone has a safe, happy and healthy celebration!

COQUITO
Ingredients
6 egg yolks
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, plus more garnish
4 tbsp vanilla extract
1 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
5 12-oz evaporated milk
1 10-oz can unsweetened coconut milk
1 14-0z can sweetened cream of coconut
4 1/4 c Barcardí Rum
Cinnamon sticks

Directions:
In a medium bowl, whisk egg yolks until smooth. Whisk in cinnamon and vanilla. Stir in next five ingredients. Taste and adjust cinnamon and vanilla if desired. Blend well and strain through a fine sieve or cheesecloth. Pour into clean bottles. Serve chilled and garnished with ground cinnamon and a cinnamon stick.

WHAT SHE'S HAVING
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve Single Malt Scotch
1 dash Noilly Prat Vermouth Dry
1 dash Jacquin's Triple Sec
1 dash Wigle Pomander Orange Bitters
1 orange twist

Directions
Combine first four ingredients in a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with orange twist.

THE SAINT
Ingredients
3 oz Line 39 Sauvignon Blanc
1 1/2 oz ginger syrup*
1/2 oz Dolin Blanc Vermouth de Chambéry
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
3 dashes Wigle Pomander Orange Bitters
Q Club Soda
1 each, lemon peel and mint sprig

Directions
Combine first four ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a large wine glass. Top with bitters and soda. Garnish with lemon peel and mint sprig.

* Ginger syrup: Combine 1 cup sugar, 1 six-inch piece of peeled and thinly sliced ginger and 1 cup water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate overnight. Strain solids before use.

CRANCELLO COSMOPOLITAN
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz Pinnacle Vodka
1/2 oz cranberry juice
1/4 oz Caravella Limoncello, chilled
Fresh cranberries

Directions
Combine first three ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with cranberries.

PINK IN THE NEW YEAR
Ingredients
1/2 oz Jacquin's Apricot Flavored Brandy
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 simple syrup
Barefoot Bubbly Pink Moscato
1 rosemary sprig

Directions
Combine first three ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Top with sparking wine. Garnish with rosemary sprig.

RASPBERRY 75
Ingredients
4 fresh raspberries
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz Keep it Simple Syrup
1 oz Finladia Vodka
Moet & Chandon Impérial Champagne Brut

Directions
Muddle raspberries in a shaker. Add next three ingredients and fill with ice. Shake and strain into a flute glass. Top with champagne.
