There’s no better time than the holidays to up your game when it comes to making tasty cocktails. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year’s…that’s a lot of happy hours and house parties, not to mention festive occasions to demonstrate your drink-making flair! 

Luckily, the people at Fine Wine & Good Spirits have provided all sort of ideas to help get you in the holiday spirits (see what I did there?) Check out the following recipes:

Blitzen's Bubbles
Ingredients:
1/2 oz D.O.M. B&B Bénédictine Liqueur
1/2 oz pomegranate juice
Chandon Brut
6 fresh raspberries, plus 2 for garnish
1 mint sprig

Directions:
Muddle raspberries with first two ingredients in a shaker. Shake and double strain into a chilled flute glass. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with skewered raspberries and mint sprig.

Cinnamon Smashed Apple
Ingredients:
1 oz Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire Whiskey
1 oz Daily's Cocktails Sweet & Sour Mix
1 oz apple cider
2 apple slices dusted with cinnamon spice

Directions:
Combine first three ingredients in a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with apple slices.

Red Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
1 1/3 oz J Vineyards & Winery Pinot Noir
3 oz bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
1/2 c milk
2 1/2 oz water
1 pinch kosher salt

Directions:
Simmer first two ingredients in a saucepan until chocolate melts, then add next three ingredients and bring to a boil for three minutes, whisking continuously. Pour into a mug.

Yule Nog
Ingredients:
2 oz Jim Beam Straight Bourbon
1/2 oz DeKuyper Buttershots Butterscotch Schnapps
1/2 oz eggnog
Fresh ground nutmeg

Directions:
Combine first three ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with nutmeg.

Snowflake Martini
Ingredients:
1 oz Chila Horchata Cinnamon Cream
1 oz Tuaca Liqueur
Coconut flakes
Cinnamon
Nutmeg

Directions:
Rim a cocktail glass with coconut flakes, cinnamon and nutmeg; set aside. Combine first two ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a prepared glass.

What She's Having
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve Single Malt Scotch
1 dash Noilly Prat Vermouth Dry
1 dash Jacquin's Triple Sec
1 dash Wigle Pomander Orange Bitters
1 orange twist

Directions:
Combine first four ingredients in a chilled couple glass. Garnish with orange twist.

Pink in the New Year
Ingredients:
1/2 oz Jacquin's Apricot Flavored Brandy
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
Barefoot Bubbly Pink Moscato 
1 rosemary sprig

Directions:
Combine first three ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled couple glass. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with rosemary sprig.

Pumpkin Spice White Russian
Ingredients:
Chocolate syrup
2 oz Stolichnaya Vodka
1 oz Kapali Coffee Liqueur
1 oz heavy cream
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Directions:
Drizzle chocolate syrup in a cocktail glass and fill with ice; set aside. Combine next four ingredients in a shaker. Shake and pour into prepared glass.

Vanilla Pear Sangria
Ingredients:
1 750-ml bottle Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio
1 c Single Prop Rum
1/2 c Keep it Simple Syrup
1/2 c orange juice
1/4 c agave syrup
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 pears, chopped
1 each, orange and Granny Smith apple, sliced
6 cinnamon sticks

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and stir well. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve in large wine glasses over ice.
