On Wednesday, July 10, the Martinis with Monet Art Expo will open at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center. The event, which is sponsored by the Cranberry Artists Network (CAN), benefits the Cranberry Township Community Chest and is the signature community art exhibition kicking off Cranberry Township Community Days.

Martinis with Monet will feature an interactive painting experience where attendees can paint a four-inch square to be added to a large mural style painting of one of Monet’s famous works of art. Music will be provided by James and Debra Tobin, and the evening’s snacks will be supplied by John Marshall Catering.

The juror for this year’s event is Kimberly Koller-Jones, executive director and CEO at the Hoyt Center for the Arts. She has more than 30 years of experience in gallery management and curation as well as multiple degrees in art history and arts administration.

Tickets for the event, which lasts from 7-9 p.m., cost $15 each or 2 for $25 and include one martini or other alcoholic beverage. Tickets can be purchased in advance via the CTCC website or in person at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center Administration Office.
