Dance with Butler County Celebrities

Western PA Herb Society Plant Sale
Sat., May 11, 9am-3pm. Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve, 641 Dorseyville Rd., 15238. Herbs and specialty herbs for sale. Perennials will also be available. Members will be bringing hard-to-find plants from their gardens. Proceeds support gardening activities at Glade Run Lutheran Services and provide an annual scholarship.

Phipps’ Big Green Block Party

Living Life Post Cancer Treatment
Wed. May 8–June 26, 6-8pm. UPMC Cancer Center Passavant Hospital, 9100 Babcock Blvd., 15237. Meets every Wednesday for adults of any cancer diagnosis who have completed treatment within the last two years to help bridge the gap between cancer treatment and life following cancer. Seed Starting Workshop

Alyssa Crawford, garden and youth coordinator for North Hills Community Outreach, will show you the skills and tools to start your own seedlings at home including what to start when, how to properly care for seedlings and other tips.  Each participant will receive a schedule and instructions for seeding common garden crops and will be able to start some seedlings of their own to take home. Millvale Music Festival
Fri.-Sat., May 10-11, 7-11pm. 25 venues across Millvale. Approximately 200 bands will be playing over the two-day period. Small Farm Animals Day
Sat., May 11, 10am-3pm. Harmonist Barn, 303 Mercer Rd., Harmony. Harmony Museum and Butler County 4-H will bring lambs, goats, rabbits, alpacas and a calf to display; the animals are available for petting. Kids and their families can meet baby farm animals and the 4-H youth who care for them. Antique farm tractors also will be on display, and vendors of farm products and crafts will have products for sale. Free parking available at the barn. Donations to the Harmony Museum will be accepted. Lunch, snacks, and beverages available.

2019 Cheer Mini Camp
