On Saturday, August 11, the town of Bellevue underwent a magical change to become WizardVue, a phenomenal festival filled with activities, performances, and fun for wizards and witches of all ages. From Wizard Idol to a magical cabaret, to games of flying broomball and even Wizard Yoga, visitors got involved in all sorts of fantastical events!

Visitors to Flamecrest Academy got the chance to visit with some wild creatures, learn about herbology and potions, and even see magical puppet shows. And vendors were on hand, too, to sell spooky mandrake plants, bottled slime, henna art and more; there was even a magical veggies vegan cookout that raised money for the Bellevue Fire Department!

Proceeds from the first-time event benefited the Friends of the Bayne Library.
