North Hills Community Outreach is collecting new backpacks and school supplies for students in kindergarten through grade 12. Items needed include backpacks, notebooks, binders, paper, folders, pencils, pens, calculators, and gently used Texas Instruments graphic/scientific calculators. Good quality teen backpacks with sturdy zippers are especially needed.
Kenny’s Koaster Race
Sun., June 3, 8:30am. Kennywood Park, 4800 Kennywood Blvd., West Mifflin. Run a 5K through historic Kennywood and then ride a 5K on Kennywood Park’s classic and modern roller coasters. YMCA Offers Diabetes Prevention Program
