Fri., Mar. 9, 7pm. Mr. Smalls Theatre, 400 Lincoln Ave., Millvale, 15209. Shaler Area High School and middle school bands will perform with solo artists, DJs and spoken word performers. The event will also include student artwork. Proceeds will be divided among the four high school classes’ class funds, which will offset the cost of senior year events. NHCO Urgently Needs Volunteers in the Upper Rt. 28 Corridor
North Hills Community Outreach has an urgent need for volunteers interested in helping seniors in the Rt. 28 corridor near Tarentum and Brackenridge. Volunteer drivers and on-board dispatchers are needed for the Free Rides for Seniors shuttles that transport seniors in the Rt. 28 communities to UPMC medical appointments and to shopping during weekdays.
