Black Cat Brewery Crawl
Wed., Oct. 11, 5-9pm, Allegheny City Brewing, 507 Foreland St., Pgh., 15212. Crawl through some of the burgh’s finest breweries and distilleries. Ticket price includes tastings and a tour at each location; food trucks will be at each site. Locations: Allegheny City Brewing, Dancing Gnome Beer, Grist House and Wigle Whiskey. Proceeds underwrite spaying/neutering of community cats through Animal Friends. $30 preregister, $35 at the door.

Hearing the Whispers and Roars Art Show

Crisis Center North (CCN) in cooperation with North Hills Art Center will host this evening of artistic expression honoring and celebrating survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The Hydref Fall Festival

Oasis Intergenerational Tutoring Program
Mon. & Thurs., Oct. 6 & 9, 9am-2:30pm. Duquesne Light Bldg., 411 Seventh Ave., Ste. 525, Pgh. Volunteers age 50+ are needed to tutor Pittsburgh and Woodland Hills School districts in grades K-4. AAUW Presents Pittsburgh for CEDAW

Living Your Yes with Rheumatoid Arthritis

Hillman Performing Arts 2017-2018 Season

Design Dialogue Presentation

The Design Dialogue Speakers Series is an annual event that brings an internationally known designer to speak to the professional design community and students. This year's speaker is Janine James. Wings & Wildlife Art Show

More than 140 colleges, universities and technical schools from across the country will participate in a college fair where high school students and parents can meet with representatives from each school to learn more about the campuses and academic programs. Discovery Days at La Roche

Bereavement Support Group, UPMC Passavant
Meets every Tuesday for six weeks beginning Oct. 24 at 4-5:30, UPMC Passavant, 9100 Babcock Blvd., Rm #G585. It is recommended that family members dealing with the loss of a loved one join three months after the loss. Free and open to the public. Register by Oct. 22 at 412-748-5899.

Recovery from Codependency

If you are working through a relationship with an addict, combine recovery and spirituality to work this 12-step program.

Recovery for Parents of Addicts

Think Caregiver
Free phone and online support for anyone providing unpaid care to dependent children, spouses, parents, sibling, relatives, friends or neighbors. Part of the Hope Grows nonprofit organization.
