Shaler Area's Got Talent
Fri., May 5, 6:30pm. Shaler Area Middle School, 1800 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, 15116. Shaler Area Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) will present a variety show highlighting the talents of Shaler Area  community members. There will be a 50/50 raffle, basket raffle and food and refreshments. Admission $5. Proceeds will benefit  Shaler District's PTO groups.

Team Alex Fund 5K/5 Mile Run/Walk/Handcycle

Sat., May 20, 9am. North Park Boathouse, Pearce Mill Rd., Allison Park. Run, walk and handcycle divisions along with kids’ activities including a 50-yard dash, on-site fire truck, and visits from Pittsburgh area mascots. Tea & Tee Event

Brian Demchak Hope Run-5K Run/Walk

Birdly® Opens at the National Aviary

La Roche Summer College Schedule
Starting May 22, La Roche College will offer summer courses at a reduced tuition rate. Selection of traditional and online courses with multiple sessions running from three to 10 weeks. Free on-campus housing available to students who enroll full-time (six credits for domestic students; 12 credits for students in the English as a Second Language program).

Summer Courses Available through Online Academy @ North Hills
Mon., June 26. North Hills School District is accepting registration for summer educational programs. The district’s Online Academy @ North Hills, which is open to students throughout southwest Pennsylvania, offers 38 online courses for students in grades 7-12. Applications available at high school guidance office or www.nhsd.net.
