App of the Month: Robinhood

I’ve always wanted to dabble in the stock market, but never wanted to go through the process of finding a broker, setting up an account and then having to pay a $10 commission fee when I am investing small amounts of money. Fees add up when you're looking at small trade amounts!
So I did some research and found Robinhood, a free, award-winning, stock trading app that allows you to buy and sell stocks without having to pay commissions. You're able to keep track of each and every trade and watch stocks through the application, but it also gives you real-time quotes and the historical performance of each stock as well.
What I like about Robinhood is that it gives you the freedom to start with very little money and learn the process as you invest. I think this would work especially well for college students or recent grads that want to start investing without the limitations, and intimidations, that typically prevent younger adults from becoming involved in the stock market. It's free through the app store and I recommend it as a great starting point for those looking to invest in their futures.
