If you’re like me and you love movies, a new app called Letterboxd will be right up your alley.
It's a social network for movie lovers that allows you to track the films that you've watched, keep track of those you want to watch, find new and intriguing movies that your friends liked, review and comment on them and share it all!
I find it a particularly cool way to keep track of all of the movies I watch for easy recall later. I'm
sure you've had moments when you want to tell a friend about a movie you watched a while back but you can't remember the name of it to save your life! Well, this app will allow you to share every interesting fact about that movie with a few swipes on your phone.
Speaking of movie facts, if you search for specific movies, you’ll be rewarded with all the information that you can imagine, like a synopsis, clickable links for cast members, consolidated reviews, links directly to the IMDB page and more.
The social aspect is nice as well... you can review your feed (much like Facebook or Twitter), see what movies your friends are watching and comment or ask questions. I have a few friends that are movie buffs like me, and this makes sharing interesting movies that much easier and FAR more
informative. There is also a website for folks that don't want to be tied to just their mobile devices.
Check out www.letterboxd.com. I highly recommend it!
