UPMC
Passavant has offered residents of the North Hills some of the best
healthcare services in the community. With the opening of UPMC
Passavant Cranberry in 2002, both hospitals continue to meet the total
health care needs of more than 300,000 residents of both the northern
Allegheny and southern Butler County regions.
As a fully accredited acute care hospital, UPMC Passavant Cranberry
provides the community and the surrounding areas, the healthcare
services they’ve come to expect from a UPMC facility. UPMC Passavant
Cranberry currently staffs 35 inpatient beds and current healthcare
services at UPMC Passavant Cranberry include a 24-hour emergency
treatment, outpatient surgical services, cardiac rehabilitation,
programming through the Sleep Disorder Center, and nutritional
counseling. In addition, outpatient physical and occupational therapy,
speech and respiratory therapy are offered. An onsite laboratory
provides blood-testing and other lab services for the community.
In addition to the above services, the hospital opened a new
Comprehensive Breast Center and Imaging Center in the spring of 2006 –
two distinctly separate centers located within the same building. At
these new centers, they have built a facility where providing patients
with the health care they need, in the most timely manner possible, is
the top priority. By combining state-of-the-art technology with
renowned medical expertise — patients spend less time waiting and
worrying, and more time being treated with the most advanced resources
available.
The hospital employs approximately 160 clinical and non-clinical
employees. In addition, the medical staffs of the two hospitals have
combined to form a single medical staff of more than 600 physicians
with admitting privileges at both facilities. And as the community
grows, so will the hospital.
The main phone number for UPMC Passavant Cranberry is 724-772-5300.
