Heritage Valley Health System provides comprehensive health care for
residents of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler and Lawrence counties in Pa.,
eastern Ohio and the panhandle of W.Va. The Health System was formed
in 1996 by Sewickley Valley Hospital, and four physician groups.
In partnership with more than 500 physicians, Heritage Valley offers a
broad range of medical, surgical and diagnostic services at its two
hospitals, the Medical Center, Beaver and Sewickley Valley Hospital.
Sewickley Valley Hospital was established in 1907. The 191-bed
hospital is located in Sewickley, and its convenient location draws
patients from Allegheny, Butler and Beaver counties looking for
comprehensive and convenient health care.
Recently, Heritage Valley instituted “Health Link,” an interactive,
on-line service which allows patients to pre-register on-line for
medical tests 24-hours a day.
